Individual Therapy
I offer 50-minute individual counseling sessions tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll determine whether weekly or biweekly sessions are most beneficial for you.
At the outset of your treatment, I typically suggest committing to regular weekly sessions. This allows us to collaboratively engage your needs and expectations for the healing process. For individuals dealing with long-term or complex trauma, weekly sessions are strongly recommended, particularly once we’ve entered the trauma processing stage of treatment.
Our treatment planning is a joint effort, with your input being crucial from start to finish. During our initial consultation, we will explore your treatment goals and how we can work together effectively to achieve them.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and adaptable, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual I work with. I draw upon modalities rooted in emotion-focused therapy, attachment theory, and cognitive behavioral therapy, with specialized training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Through fostering a strong, therapeutic alliance, I aim to facilitate rapid, meaningful, and enduring changes that extend into your everyday life and relationships.
